Where to go?

Although a swim among the beautiful water-lilies in the natural lake which also features a covered bathing area is definitely recommended, the indoor thermal pool and spa of the established Hévíz hotels offers an alternative way to have a dip. In most cases non-hotel guests are also welcome to use these spa facilities.

For our guests we recommend the Danubius Thermal Hotel Aqua (Kossuth u. 13-15) only a few minutes walk from our place or the facilities at NaturMed Hotel Carbona (Attila u. 1) located close to the city centre. Both hotel have a recently renovated thermal bath and fun bath. The very nice twin thermal pool of the Hotel Carbona with its glass mosaic covered walls has a Mediterranean atmosphere of the ancient Roman times and can be used separately from the fun bath, which means more favourable cost. Entry tickets to both pools are available at the reception of the hotel.

The geographical location of Hévíz also offers a wide choice of excursion opportunities for the visitors seeking medical treatment or arriving for recreation throughout the year. The close proximity of Lake Balaton and Keszthely, the gently hilliness of the Zala landscape, the natural beauty, architectural and cultural values of the region, the small shops packed with local handicrafts all hide the possibility of an exciting excursion or discovery.
